The CommerceV3 software has been updated to now allow you the option of allowing the shipping information to be passed to PayPal Express.

To turn on this feature, go to Settings->Options->Payment Options->PayPal Options and set “If available, would you like to override a customer’s shipping information in PayPal?” to “yes” under “Required for PayPal Express Checkout Transactions:”.

 

Once turned on, any shipping information the customer has entered will be sent to PayPal.  If the customer has not entered a shipping address, PayPal will collect it as usual.

 

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to allow you to calculate and display the multiple shipping methods and rates on your checkout page for your customers when they select items that ship by Vendor and by ships in own box or shipping table or web rates.

The different methods are separated in the checkout screen and have a combined total for the products and the total shipping.

Settings> Options> Shipping Options>  Shipping Options

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to allow additional user functionality for clients using InOrder order management systems.

Several new options are now available:

Catalog Request
Gift Card Redemption
Gift Card Sales
Order Level Discounts
Purchase Order Number on Order
Fixed apostrophe in orders bug
Sending customer shipping information even if it already exists

 

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to give you additional options in the customer group rule results area.  Two additional options have been created to allow you to offer the Least expensive item or items in the cart for a discount or for free.

 

 

 

Give least expensive product free (calculated during checkout)this option allows you to give the least expensive item for free that has been added to the cart.  The item price is listed at the checkout summary page and shown as reduced off of the sub-total for the cart.

 

 

 

 

Give $ off the least expensive product(s)  allows you to offer a dollar amount off a specific number of least expensive products.  The product prices are reflected in the cart.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Give % off the least expensive product(s)  allows you to offer a percentage off of the least expensive product or products in the cart.  The discount is shown in the cart.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to offer the option for credit card authorization to allow authorization of the full amount of the transaction if the ship date is within (x) number of days of order, or to only authorize $1.00 if it is outside of that date.  You have the ability to set the number of days for the option.

Settings> Options> Payment Options> Credit Card Options

 

 

The options allow you to authorize the full amount of the sale.

Authorize only $1.00 for the sale.

Authorize only $1.00 for the sale if it is shipping beyond the number of days set in the option.

The set up is located within the specific payment gateway you use for your credit card information.

 

 

 

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has been upgraded to now allow you to send Shipping Name and Address info to your order managers for PayPal orders.  This option is not available for MOM, Wizard or InOrder order management systems.

In order to activate the option you will need to go to  Settings> Options> Order Management Software

 

The shipping address will be used as the billing address for the information sent to the order management system.

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to now allow you the option of copying an existing Custom Product Form when creating a new form.

Inventory> Custom Product Forms> Add Form

 

 

 

 

Create the name of the new form and then select from the drop down list an existing form that you want to copy the format.

The new form will contain the options defined in the copied form.

 

 

 

The CommerceV3 software has added a new feature to now allow the checkout_billing page to show the shipper change notification message.

For promotions and other shipping group changes the shipping change notification will be shown on the billing request page so the customer has the opportunity to see the changes prior to entering payment information.

This feature requires a template upgrade.

 

The CommerceV3 software has been updated to now check the shipping date selected and produce an error message if the selected date is in the past compared to the current date.
