CommerceV3 (CV3) is a leading provider of high-end e-commerce web sites to multi-channel merchants. CV3 provides enterprise-level customization and integration while maintaining the security, scalability and affordability of a mass-market commerce platform.
CV3 is looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to manage the ongoing design and usability of the CommerceV3 application. This individual will be utilizing design, development and testing best practices to evolve the CV3 application interface to become easier to use and easier to support. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology-focused design, and extensive experience executing design work using HTML, CSS and image assets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment to design and evolve a complex user interface;
- Extensive knowledge of Photoshop (or like); able to design & create graphical assets;
- Strong cross-browser HTML & CSS skills, with a focus on CSS;
- Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage;
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, reusable components across a large application;
- Familiar with HTML5 features and principles for building components that provide maximum compatibility across computing and mobile devices;
Bonus Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Javascript and Javascript libraries
- Knowledge of Subversion source control system
Experience
We’re looking for somebody who has at least 3+ years of UI/UX experience.

On-site work with fellow team members can occur for up to 2 weeks each year and is required.
