CommerceV3 (CV3) is a leading provider of high-end e-commerce web sites to multi-channel merchants. CV3 provides enterprise-level customization and integration while maintaining the security, scalability and affordability of a mass-market commerce platform.
CV3 is looking for a talented front-end web developer to build and launch merchant storefronts. This individual will be utilizing HTML, CSS and Javascript best practices to develop maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across multiple e-commerce sites. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive HTML and CSS development experience, and will be able to get up to speed quickly on the CV3 platform.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment to develop pixel perfect sites that meet the design requirements;
- Working knowledge of Photoshop; able to cutup comps from the design team;
- Strong HTML skills; knowledge of how to use appropriate markup to limit the amount of classes and ID’s required on a page while providing the most flexibility;
- Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage;
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, reusable code across multiple sites;
- Familiar with HTML5 features and principles for building sites that provide maximum compatibility across computing and mobile devices;
- In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them.
Bonus Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Javascript
- Experience working with jQuery, jQueryMobile and other
- Social App Development – Experience in building social sites or apps (Facebook, etc.)
Experience
We’re looking for somebody who has at least 3+ years of web development experience.
