Watermarking purchased PDFs on the fly for DRM.

Has CV3 ever explored functionality for applying a personalized watermark on a PDF (e.g., an e-book, a digital version of a mag, patterns, etc.) purchased via a CV3 store?  (The personalization would be unique to the customer - name or similar identifier - meant to discourage free distribution of the digital asset.)
