How to Reset a Download?
0
votes
Customer has ordered, but forgot to download in the time allotted, and they don't have a 'member' account. Although that may not be a factor.
I don't find them in the Member area so assume they haven't created an account.

Could you email us the order information (customer email, order ID, SKU)? Otherwise, if you know the order went through, you could just email the file to the customer.

Files are too large to email. I was hoping we'd be able to do something back-end wise to reset, as this is likely to come up in the future. Is there no way to reset? We're coming from ZenCart which had that capability. The other feature ZenCart had was the ability to send a "gift certificate" so we could send them the certificate, if say they ordered two of the same thing by mistake.

If you send me that info through support@commercev3.com, I will take a look into it. You might be able to just give the customer a one-time use promo code to re-order that product for free and download it again.
Thanks. Will do.
