How does the new EU Law on cookies effect the CV3 sites?

It appears unless you have a site located in the EU states than you do not have any additional requirements.

This does not apply to our internal cookie since it is "strictly necessary for a service requested by a user" such as adding a product to the cart and logging into the member area.

Customers with UK stores who are using non-CV3 cookies would be effected by this and it would apply to tracking such as google analytics or automatically logging in people with a facebook cookie.

If you have stores like that you could either disable those external services, or add a request to allow the use of those types of cookies.
