How do I add a product to New & Featured so it still shows up in an artist search?

When I add a CD or DVD to the New and Featured category, and mark it as a "Featured" item, it no longer shows up on a site-wide search for either the artist or specific product number. I have added the items to all appropriate categories, but it doesn't seem to matter.

Have you set up your search parameters to search in all of the fields you wish to have searched? That might be a quick fix if those fields have not been selected.

Settings > Options > Display Options > Search Options > Choose fields to use with the site search
