The Google Site Map function has been updated to generate multiple XML files. It will now automatically break out the URL’s into 50,000 entry maximum XML files. This is compliant with the Google site map specifications.
This update automates the process and replaces the manual separation of pages of XML files.
No additional action is needed from the site administration.
