Configuring Email client (Android)

The following is a walk-through for adding your CommerceV3 mail on an Android mobile device.

  • Step 1: To add a new account to your Android mobile device, press your Menu button, then select Settings. Then choose Accounts, and click on the Add account button at the bottom. Select the Email icon.
  • Step 2: Click I Agree if you have a Service Agreement screen pop up, and then click Next.

  • Step 3: Type in your Email Address, your Password, and then click Next.

  • Step 4: Select General Settings. Enter an Account name to designate which acount this is (e.g., Work, etc.). Enter your Real name, and then enter your full Email address that CommerceV3 has set up for you. Once this information is filled out, click OK.

  • Step 5: Click on Incoming Server. Make sure that POP mail server is selected, and then enter post.commercev3.com for the Server. Enter your full Email address that CommerceV3 has set up for you, and then, your password. Click on the Advanced settings button before you click OK.

  • Step 6: Enter 995 for the Incoming server Port field. Then, check the Use secure connection box, and make sure that the rest of the options look like the screenshot. Then, click OK, and click OK on the next screen also.

  •  Step 7: Click on Outgoing Server. Make sure that the SMTP server is post.commercev3.com. Enter your full Email address that CommerceV3 has set up for you, and then, your password. Click on the Advanced settings button before you click OK.

  • Step 8: Enter 465 into the Outgoing server Port field. Check the Use secure connection box, and make sure that the rest of the options look like the screenshot. Click OK, and then click OK on the next screen also.

  • Step 9: Success! Click on Done, and your account should be all set up.
